Club Ashfield Provides both Financial and In-kind support to many Local Charities, NFP's, Sporting and Community Groups. If your organisation is not eligible for Cat1 funding, you may apply under Cat2. Cat2 applications are considered on a monthly basis from 1st September to 31st August each year. |

Category 2 funding supports local projects, programs and services that strengthen our community and deliver meaningful social, health, welfare, educational, cultural, sporting, veterans' and environmental outcomes. Priority is given to initiatives that improve the wellbeing of the local community, particularly those supporting veterans and their families, assisting disadvantaged or vulnerable people, promoting community participation, and enhancing quality of life within the City of Canada Bay and surrounding areas. Applications are assessed on their eligibility under the NSW ClubGRANTS Guidelines, the demonstrated community benefit, alignment with Club Five Dock RSL's vision, mission and values, the organisation's capacity to deliver the proposed project, and the funding available at the time of assessment. |

Through the NSW ClubGRANTS Scheme, Club Five Dock RSL provides in-kind support to eligible community organisations delivering projects, programs and services that benefit our local community. In-kind support may include the provision of venue hire, meeting rooms, catering, equipment, promotional assistance, gift cards, raffle prizes, or other non-cash contributions that assist organisations to achieve positive community outcomes. Applications are assessed on their eligibility under the NSW ClubGRANTS Guidelines, the demonstrated community benefit, alignment with Club Five Dock RSL's vision, mission and values, and the availability of Club resources. The ClubGRANTS funding year operates from 1 September to 31 August. Applications are considered by the Board of Directors at its monthly meetings throughout the year. Applicants should allow up to two months for assessment and notification of the outcome and are encouraged to apply well in advance of their project or event. |

Out Of Scope

Club Five Dock RSL is committed to supporting local community organisations through in-kind assistance. This application process is for requests for in-kind support that fall outside the NSW ClubGRANTS Guidelines. It is designed to support organisations seeking assistance such as meeting space, promotional support, gift cards, raffle prizes, or other non-cash contributions that benefit the local community. The program is also available to community groups and organisations that are not eligible to receive funding through the NSW ClubGRANTS Scheme, ensuring the Club can continue to support worthwhile local initiatives that fall outside the formal ClubGRANTS eligibility criteria. Applications are assessed on their individual merits, taking into consideration:
This program is separate from the NSW ClubGRANTS Scheme and does not provide direct cash funding. Applications may be submitted throughout the year and will be assessed as they are received. Lodging an application does not guarantee support. Applicants may be asked to provide additional information to assist with the assessment. Successful applicants may also be requested to acknowledge the Club's contribution in promotional material or event communications where appropriate. |
