ClubGRANTS Category 2 Funding Application is for monetary funding only.

It is for general community development and support activities, such as junior sport/grassroots sport, veteran welfare activities and to deliver positive social outcomes that improve the living standards of low income and disadvantaged local residents. 

Applications are encouraged from not-for-profit organisations, community groups and registered charities whose projects address identified community needs and demonstrate measurable benefits to the community.

Applications must be submitted at least 8 to 10 weeks before the required funding date to allow sufficient time for review and consideration by the Board of Directors.  Applications submitted outside this timeframe may not be considered.

Cabravale Club Resort — 2026–2027 ClubGRANTS Category 2 Cash Funding

This application is for monetary funding only. Requests for in-kind assistance, including room hire, must be submitted through the relevant in-kind funding round.

Cabravale Club Resort welcomes applications for projects and activities that strengthen community connections, encourage participation and provide meaningful benefits to our local community.

Category 2 supports eligible community development and support activities outside Category 1, including sport, recreation and veterans’ welfare.

Applications are encouraged from not-for-profit organisations, community groups and registered charities that can demonstrate a clear community need, an achievable project plan and measurable outcomes.

Examples of activities that may be considered include:

• Junior and grassroots sport.
• Community sporting and recreational clubs.
• Veterans’ welfare and support activities.
• Cultural events, visual arts and performing arts.
• Multicultural activities that encourage community participation.
• Social and recreational programs that bring people together.

Eligibility will be assessed according to the project’s purpose and the applicable ClubGRANTS Guidelines.

Preparing your application

Please clearly explain who will benefit, how the funding will be used and what your project aims to achieve. Include an itemised budget, relevant supporting documents and details of any other funding requested or received for the same activities.

Applications are assessed on community benefit, financial viability, your organisation’s ability to deliver the project and whether the activities duplicate existing funded programs.

Submit your application well before funding is required to allow time for assessment and Board consideration. Funding is subject to approval and available funds; submitting an application does not guarantee support.

Successful applicants must use the funding for the approved purpose, retain evidence of expenditure and complete the required acquittal or progress reports.

Category 2 funding is for general community development and supporting various community activities. 

Such examples of this are assistance to local schools and LCC Intraclubs.

Please note: No individual sponsorship will be considered for charities or sporting requests.
