Category 2 allocated expenditure is that expenditure allocated to community development and support activities and projects not listed under category 1 as well as expenditure allocated to a club's core activities. For example, sport, returned servicemen's league or veteran welfare.

ClubGRANTS is designed to ensure that larger registered clubs in NSW contribute to the provision of frontline services to their local communities.  

Eligible Category 2 expenditure is that expenditure allocated to community development, support activities and projects not listed under Category 1 and sport related endeavours.

DOOLEYS undertakes a formal Quarterly Funding Program via the ClubGRANTS Category 2 Scheme. 

Spring Round applications close October 5, 5pm

Applicants will be notified on the outcome of their funding application by the end of October

DOOLEYS welcomes request for support including sponsorship, donations and other monetary support which address DOOLEYS identified local community priority areas in the Cumberland LGA.

As a general guide, funding requests should fall between $1,000 - $25,000.

The following application must be completed to request monetary support from Revesby Workers' Club Ltd, to support community development and initiatives not listed under category 1. This may include, monetary payments / donations such as sub-club subsidies, community group and sporting association assistance, scholarships etc. This support can only be provided to projects or initiatives with the Canterbury-Bankstown LGA, for the period 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027.

Category 2 funding is for general community development and supporting various community activities. 

Such examples of this are assistance to local schools and LCC Intraclubs.

Please note: No individual sponsorship will be considered for charities or sporting requests.

If your project and/or services contribute to the welfare and broader social fabric of the local community, including:

• Community development

• Employment assistance activities

ClubGRANTS Category 2 Funding Application is for monetary funding only.

It is for general community development and support activities, such as junior sport/grassroots sport, veteran welfare activities and to deliver positive social outcomes that improve the living standards of low income and disadvantaged local residents. 

Applications are encouraged from not-for-profit organisations, community groups and registered charities whose projects address identified community needs and demonstrate measurable benefits to the community.

Applications must be submitted at least 8 to 10 weeks before the required funding date to allow sufficient time for review and consideration by the Board of Directors.  Applications submitted outside this timeframe may not be considered.

Ingleburn Bowling Club is excited to support local community-development projects through our Category 2 Funding.

To qualify your project must demonstrate that it is supporting local community development and support activities that are not listed under Category 1.  Category 2 can include such things as junior sport/grassroots sport or veteran welfare activities.

All ClubGRANT applications will be assessed by the Board of Directors for consideration in due course. Once your application has been assessed the Club will contact you via the ClubGRANTS online system to advise you of the outcome.

Please note that, under the ClubGRANTS Guidelines, the proposed project cannot commence or have a commence date prior to the project being considered for approval by the Board.

Applications should be submitted well in advance of your project commencement date.

Should your organisation have an outstanding acquittal for a project from a previous ClubGRANTS Round as approved by the Club, your new application may not be considered for funding.

(Please note that this round will close once all allocated funding is exhausted)

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CATEGORY 2 CASH FUNDING

Note: This grant round applies to Lantern Club for cash grants ONLY (not in-kind support). This is a cash grant application and not sponsorship. Please do not refer to the application as "sponsorship", otherwise the application will be rejected.  

1. Lantern Clubs vision is to make a significant contribution to the quality of community life.
2. Projects must be community focused, with measurable deliverables to residents of the local council areas where we operate - The City of Canterbury Bankstown.
3. Category 2 projects relate to:
   1. Local grassroots sport
   2. Local cultural and art-based projects
   3. General education and community development

OVERVIEW OF THE PROCESS

1. All applications are revied on a monthly basis. Please allow for at least 6 weeks after submitting to receive notification of a final decision.
2. Applications must be completed a minimum of 6-weeks prior to your project start date to allow for approvals.
3. Please ensure you have selected the correct grant round before proceeding any further.
