2027 Canterbury Hurlstone Park RSL Club - CAT 1 In-Kind

The Epping Club is part of the Parramatta Local Government Area and provide funding support within this area and the surrounding 5-kilometer radius of the Epping district.

This application is for In-Kind Grants 

In-kind support includes the donations of goods or services that you may receive towards a project. Often, an organisation or group contributes to a project with their own resources, which may reduce the amount of actual dollars needed. But this doesn’t deny the fact that these contributions would had to have been paid for if these donations didn’t exist.

The Epping Club generally provides in-kind grants for room hire and audio-visual equipment.

This grant round belongs to West HQ and is for Category 1 - In kind expenditure. Make sure your organisation profile is updated with the correct contact details before beginning your application.

Campbelltown RSL — 2026–2027 ClubGRANTS Category 1 In-Kind Support

This application is for in-kind support only. In-kind support means assistance through the provision of facilities, goods or services rather than a cash payment. Requests for monetary funding must be submitted through the relevant cash funding round.

Campbelltown RSL welcomes applications for projects and services that contribute to the welfare of our local community and improve the living standards of low-income and disadvantaged people.

Category 1 supports eligible community welfare and social services, community development, community health services and employment assistance activities.

Applications are encouraged from not-for-profit organisations, community groups and registered charities that can demonstrate a clear community need and measurable benefits for the people they support.

Examples of activities that may be considered include:

• Community health and wellbeing programs.
• Support services for families and people experiencing hardship.
• Youth programs addressing disadvantage.
• Programs reducing isolation among older people.
• Disability support and inclusion activities.
• Employment assistance and skills development for disadvantaged people.
• Support programs for culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

Eligibility depends on the purpose of the project and the people who will benefit, rather than the type of organisation applying.

Support requested may include room hire, use of club facilities, equipment or other goods and services. All requests are subject to eligibility, approval and availability.

Preparing your application

Please explain the community need your project addresses, who will benefit and how the requested support will help. Include:

• Preferred dates, start and finish times, including setup time.
• Expected attendance and room setup requirements.
• Equipment, catering or other assistance requested.
• For recurring activities, the frequency and total number of sessions.
• Any other funding or in-kind support for the same project.
• The outcomes you expect to achieve and how you will measure them.

Applications are assessed on community need, expected benefits, your organisation’s ability to deliver the project and whether it duplicates existing funded services. Relevant Local Committee community priorities will also be considered where identified.

Please apply well before your proposed activity to allow time for assessment and Board consideration. Submitting an application does not confirm a venue booking or guarantee support. Dates and arrangements must be confirmed separately with our team.

Successful applicants must use the support for the approved purpose, maintain records of the activities delivered and provide the required acquittal or progress reports and statutory declaration confirming the in-kind support received.
