2027 - Parramatta Leagues ClubGRANTS - Category 1 – InKind

Category 1 non cash funding such as free room hire or donations.

Category 1 funding is specifically for local projects and/or services that contribute to the welfare and broader social fabric of the local community and are aimed at improving the living standards of low income and disadvantaged communities.

These projects encompass projects within:

• Community Welfare & Social Services
• Community Development
• Community Health Services
• Employment Assistance Activities

TIP: Apply for this category to receive an in-kind donation (eg. waived room hire, signed Bulldogs jersey, Canterbury gift cards) to your Category 1 project or fundraiser.

Requests will be considered at the monthly Board meeting and recipients will be notified of the outcome. Due to a limited funding pool, unfortunately not all requests will be successful. 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CATEGORY 1 IN KIND FUNDING

NOTE: This grant round applies to Springwood Sports Club for in-kind support ONLY (not cash grants).

1. Springwood Sports Club's vision is to make a significant contribution to the quality of community life.
2. Projects must be community-focused, with measurable deliverables to residents of the local council areas where we operate - the Blue Mountains City Council.
3. Category 1 projects relate to  
   1. Health & Wellbeing
   2. Support for Vulnerable & Disadvantaged groups
   3. Inclusion & Cohesion
   4. Youth Development & Engagement

In-Kind Support includes

1. Complimentary or discounted room hire for Category 1 projects/events
2. Catering and AV costs

OVERVIEW OF THE PROCESS

1. Please liaise with our Events Department regarding availability and requirements prior to submitting a ClubGRANTS application via email at springwoodevents@clubscatering.com.au
2. All applications are reviewed on a monthly basis.  Please allow for at least 6 weeks after submitting to receive notification of a final decision.
3. Applications must be completed a minimum of 6-weeks prior to your project start date to allow for approvals.

Applications for The Shellharbour Club's 2026/2027 ClubGRANTS Category 1 In-Kind Requests are now open and will close on 31st August 2027.

All applications for in-kind funding are now required to be lodged using the ClubsNSW online portal - ClubGRANTS Online. Our team will no longer accept direct requests for in-kind funding.

Your application must clearly detail the way in which the in-kind request will directly benefit the Shellharbour community.

All applicants will be notified of the status of their application within 5 days of submitting your application.  

NOTE: If requesting a room hire waiver, please contact our Event Coordinator at functions@shellys.com.au to check availability before submitting your request. 

Community developement and support activities and projects not listed under category 1 , plus eligible expenditure on a club's core activities - for example sport, returned servicemen's league/veteran welfare, golf-course maintenance and bowling green maintenance. (Guidelines para 2.2) 

Category 1 in kind - this is to be used when applying for any non-cash support/donations being requested for fundraising such as Club vouchers, room hire fee waivers etc.  Please note that these are only available to community organisations (not for personal use).

Other Clubs in our local grant round that may be able to assist you are Albion Park Bowling Club, Albion Park RSL Memorial Club, Oak Flats Bowling & Recreation Club, The Shellharbour Club and Warilla Sports Club.

NOTE: This grant round applies to Club Parramatta, for in-kind support ONLY (not cash grants) for the period 1 September 2026 - 31 August 2027.

Discount will be advised after approval from the CHRG Board of Directors.

1. Projects must be community-focused, with measurable deliverables to residents of the local council areas where we operate, the Parramatta City Council.
2. Projects must address at least one of our CSR values and philosophies - refer to our website for more information: https://www.chrg.com.au/clubgrants/ and;
3. Address CHRG's identified local community Category 1 priorities:
   - Health & Wellbeing
   - Education - Specialised services for Vulnerable groups
   - Inclusion & Cohesion
   - Youth Development & Engagement

In-Kind Support includes

1. Complimentary or discounted room hire for Category 1 projects/events
2. Catering and AV costs are not available for subsidy through our ClubGRANTS program.

OVERVIEW OF THE PROCESS

   - Local grassroots sports
   - Local fundraising initiatives
   - Local cultural and arts-based projects
   - General Education & Community Support

Complimentary or discounted room hire for Category 2 projects/events

Complimentary or discounted facility use (i.e. Castle Hill Fitness and Aquatic Centre) for Category 2 projects

Catering and AV costs are not available for subsidy through our ClubGRANTS program.
