The Cessnock LGA ClubGRANTS 2024 Category 1 provides funding for local social services and community projects, with the aim of addressing social need and disadvantage.  

Weston Workers Club is looking to offer opportunities for those projects within the local areas of Weston, Kurri Kurri, Abermain, Neath, Heddon Greta, Cliftleigh, Pelaw Main and Stanford Merthyr. 

Eligible projects and services include, community welfare and social services, community development, community health services and employment assistance activities. 

Funding priorities for 2024 are for projects and services in the area that seek to address areas of high local need in particular;

• Volunteer Emergency Services
• Family Support
• Early Childhood Health
• Health Promotion
• Community Advocacy

Weston Workers Club has an opportunity to partner with local school in creating opportunities for youth to broaden their education and horizons.

Who qualifies for this funding?
Funding is open to local schools in the Weston, Kurri Kurri and Abermain areas.

When & How to apply?
Applications for the Local Schools Education funding are open throughout the year with funds allocated in April and July 2024. Grants of up to $1,000/year for High Schools and up to $500/per year for Primary Schools are available.

Club Singleton Category 1 Grants Funding

 ClubGRANTS Category 1 is for applications related to expenditure on specific community welfare and social services, community development, community health services and employment assistance activities. 

With the current changes in legislation for the club grants program in 2024 Central Coast clubs will be contributing 75% of Category 1 funding to this club grants round. This will mean that clubs may not open individual rounds as we continue to work together as a collective group of clubs.

Please take this into consideration when applying for your funding. Community groups are advised to apply to the LGA round for full funding requirements rather than multiple applications and applications to each individual club.

Clarence Valley Club grants has been set up to help not for profit organisations within the Clarence Valley Region.

Category 1 funding projects are specific community welfare and social services, community development, health services and employment assistance activities, and other projects aimed at improving the living standards of low income and disadvantaged people.
