The Sydney CBD ClubGRANTS committee encompasses the  following venues:

• Bowlers Club of NSW (Club York)
• City Tattersalls Group (inc The Castlereagh and The Barracks)
• City of Sydney RSL (Club Sydney)

Eligibility

• Local, eligible not-for-profit organisations and community groups are encouraged to apply and can submit up to two applications
• Projects must benefit the residents of Sydney CBD
• Projects must meet the ClubGRANTS Category 1 expenditure criteria

The ClubGRANTS Guildlines set out the full eligibility criteria. All applications must be made via ClubGRANTS online.

All previous recipients must fully expend their funds before the next grant round opens.

Category 1 Funding - Northern Beaches

The ClubGRANTS Guidelines advise Category 1 expenditure is for projects and/or services that contribute to the welfare and broader social fabric of the local community, and are aimed at improving the living standards of low income and disadvantaged people.

Priority populations identified in Council’s Better Together, Social Sustainability Strategy 2040:

• Young people
• Older people
• People living with disability
• Families
• Culturally and linguistically diverse people
• First nations people
• Essential workers

Penrith Category 1 ClubGRANTS is a community development funding program sponsored by local Registered Clubs and administered by Penrith City Council.

To be eligible, applicants must be a not-for-profit organisation with projects that address specific community welfare and social services, community development, health services and employment assistance activities, as well as projects aimed at improving the living standards of low income and disadvantaged people.

To assist in preparing an application, information on priority community needs and priority groups within Penrith City are as follows;

Priority community needs 

• Strengthening local community connections 

• Addressing isolation and disadvantage 

• Providing crisis support 

• Improving physical and mental health 

• Increasing community preparedness for disasters  

• Addressing family violence 

• Enhancing intercultural connections through creative and cultural expression 

• Improving sustainability outcomes through community building activities  

Priority groups  

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people  

• Culturally and linguistically diverse communities 

• Children 0-12 years old 

• Young people   

• Women  

• People with disability including children, families and carers  

• Older people  

• Gender and sexually diverse community members 

Consideration will be given to: 

1. How effectively the proposed application addresses priority social needs of Penrith City residents 

2. The expected outcomes and beneficiaries

The Inner West Club Grants Committee welcomes submissions from local community groups for Category 1 projects.  

Category 1 funding is specifically for local projects and/or services that contribute to the welfare and broader social fabric of the local community and are aimed at improving the living standards of low income and disadvantaged communities. 

The Local priorities for 2024 are: 

• Aboriginal Reconciliation and wellbeing 

• Encouraging gender equity, addressing violence against women and children  

• Encouraging participation from multicultural communities 

• Addressing racism and discrimination 

• Encouraging young people's heath, wellbeing, and engagement 

• Homelessness 

• Financial literacy

3. Create an account and apply online at: www.clubgrants.com.au  

4. Register and select the (LGA) Round. You only need to apply once as the application will be reviewed by all clubs within the (LGA) Local Committee.

Inner West ClubGRANTS Committee 

This is the main Category 1 grant round for the 2023/4 ClubGRANTS cycle.

Broadly, Category 1 grants are intended to promote community welfare through the provision of community services and community development activities, and through community health and employment assistance projects.

Pittwater RSL Club works with other local clubs and with Northern Beaches Council to ensure grants meet priority needs identified by the Council and have a direct impact on residents of the local area.

Supports community welfare and social services; community development; employment assistance activities; community health services; and projects aimed at improving the living standards of low income and disadvantaged people.

Applications for projects within the Coffs Harbour LGA will be accepted and considered by the Coffs Harbour Local Committee, comprising of C.ex Coffs, C.ex Woolgoolga, Park Beach Bowling Club and Sawtell RSL. 

Category 1 funding is available for specific local community priorities such as community welfare and social services, community development, community health services and employment assistance activities. 

Supports community welfare and social services; community development; employment assistance activities; community health services; and projects aimed at improving the living standards of low income and disadvantaged people.

Eligible Category 1 expenditure is for projects and/or services that contribute to the welfare and broader social fabric of the local community, and are aimed at improving the living standards of low income and disadvantaged people.

You are considered eligible for Category 1 funding if your project falls under specific community welfare and social services, community development, health services and employment assistance activities, and other projects aimed at improving the living standards of low income and disadvantaged people.
