Applicants

The ClubGRANTS Local Committee brings together representatives from local clubs, council, government agencies and community organisations to identify local community service priorities and assess ClubGRANTS applications against those priorities.

For the 2026 funding round, priority will be given to projects that address local community need, support disadvantaged or vulnerable groups, and deliver clear community benefit.

All applications are reviewed by the Local Committee; however, the Committee’s role is advisory only. Individual clubs make the final funding decisions and allocate grants via ClubGRANTS Online.

Applicants are encouraged to clearly demonstrate alignment with local priorities and provide complete, well-supported applications.

• clearly demonstrate how their project aligns with identified local priorities impacting Lake Macquarie specifically,

• outline the community need being addressed and the expected outcomes,

• provide realistic budgets and timeframes, and

• ensure applications are complete and supported by relevant documentation.

Applicants should note that submitting an application does not guarantee funding and that funding decisions are made independently by participating clubs.
