ClubGRANTS are an initiative of the NSW Government and Clubs NSW to provide funding for community projects and services that have a direct impact on local communities. ClubGRANTS are funded by a 1.85% gaming machine tax rebate provided by the State Government to those registered clubs with gaming machine profits in excess of $1 million per annum. Bayside Council DOES NOT financially contribute to the program but assists the Bayside ClubGRANTS Committee by administering the application process for Category 1. Category 1 specifically supports projects for community welfare and social services; community development; community health services; employment assistance activities and projects aimed at improving the living standards of low income and disadvantaged people. Local Clubs participating in the Bayside Local Area Committee for ClubGRANTS are: Ramsgate RSL, Bexley RSL, Brighton RSL, Kingsgrove RSL, Georges River 16ft Sailing Club, Rockdale Tennis Club, Earlwood - Bardwell Park and Rowers on Cooks River. |
