Funding is generally for projects not listed or eligible for Category 1 funding such as Sport and Recreational Clubs, Cultural Activities – Visual/Performing Arts, Charity Fundraising, Medical Research and in-kind services such as Complimentary Room Hire and Fundraising Activities.

Applications for Category 2 In Kind Support are generally for room hire waiver, donation of prizes or other items that are non-cash. Funding is open most of the year, to be completed and submitted online.

All applications are reviewed by the Board of Directors on a monthly basis and are either approved or rejected depending on their merits and the amount of funding available at the time.

Bomaderry Bowling Club Club is inviting applications for Category 2 – In Kind ClubGRANTS funding.

This round supports projects, events and activities that benefit the local community, including general community development, sport and recreation, veterans’ welfare and initiatives that encourage community participation and connection. 

In-kind assistance may include complimentary or discounted room hire, use of club facilities or equipment, and other goods or services agreed to by Bomaderry Bowling Club. This round provides non-cash support.

Applicants are encouraged to provide details of the organisation, the purpose of the support requested and the proposed dates. All applications are subject to approval, venue availability and the ClubGRANTS guidelines.

Non monetary support through assistance with room hire, prizes for fundraisers etc for general community development and support activities.

Category 2 non cash funding such as donations and free room hire

Applications for The Shellharbour Club's 2026/2027 ClubGRANTS Category 2 In-Kind Requests are now open and will close on 31st August 2027.

All applications for in-kind funding are now required to be lodged using the ClubsNSW online portal - ClubGRANTS Online. Our team will no longer accept direct requests for in-kind funding.

Your application must clearly detail the way in which the in-kind request will directly benefit the Shellharbour community.

All applicants will be notified of the status of their application within 5 days of submitting your application.  

NOTE: If requesting a Room Hire Waiver, please contact our Event Coordinator at functions@shellys.com.au to check availability before submitting your request. 

Projects and/or services that contribute to the welfare and broader social fabric of the local comminity and aim to improve the living standards of 
low-income and disadvantaged people. Eligible areas include community welfare and social services, community development, community health services and employment assistance. (Guidelines para 2.2)

Category 2 in kind - this is to be used when applying for any non-cash support/donations being requested for fundraising such as Club vouchers, room hire fee waivers etc.  Please note that these are only available to community organisations and sporting groups (not for personal use).
