Applicants

The Asquith Club invites sporting clubs and teams from the Hornsby LGA to apply for financial assistance through our Asquith Club Sports Club and Teams Fund.

This fund offers grants of up to $1,000 per organisation*, per funding year (September-August) for specific projects, essential equipment, and ongoing activities.

Applications are open from year-round (excluding August), with grants allocated monthly.

*Individual sportspeople and fundraising campaigns are not eligible for these grants.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CATEGORY 2 CASH FUNDING

NOTE: This grant round applies to Castle Hill RSL Club Category 2 Cash support ONLY (not in kind support) for the period 1 September 2026 - 31 August 2027.

1. Projects must be community-focused, with measurable deliverables to residents of the local council area where Castle Hill RSL Club operates, the Hills Shire Council.
2. Projects must address at least one of our CSR values and philosophies - refer to our website for more information: https://www.chrg.com.au/clubgrants/ and;
3. Address CHRG's identified local Category 2 community priorities:
   - Local grassroots sports
   - Local fundraising initiatives
   - Local cultural and arts-based projects
   - General Education and Community Support

OVERVIEW OF THE PROCESS

1. Applications must be completed a minimum of 6-weeks prior to your project start date to allow for approvals CHRG Board of Directors.
2. All applications are reviewed by the Board of Directors on a monthly basis (at the end of the month).  Please allow for at least 2 weeks after this time to receive notification of a final decision.

Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club Grant applications open to organisations for ongoing support in the community.

The applications are for funding and support from Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club and must be completed by applicants prior to funding approval

ClubGRANTS is designed to ensure that larger registered clubs in NSW contribute to the provision of frontline services to their local communities.  

Eligible Category 2 expenditure is that expenditure allocated to community development, support activities and projects not listed under Category 1 and sport related endeavours.

Hornsby RSL Club is about community. We appreciate the opportunity to serve people who live locally and those who are proud members of the Club. For this reason, we support a diverse group of local community organisations through the ClubGrants program.

This grant applies to Hornsby RSL Club for funding support (cash) for the 2026-2027 ClubGrants year.

To be eligible to apply, you must be a not-for-profit organisation and provide the following project and/or services:

• community welfare or social services,
• community development,
• community health services or employment assistance activities

You are also eligible if you or your organisation is involved in community or professional sport.

Process Overview:

1. Please liaise with our Community and Engagement Officer should you have any queries prior to submitting a ClubGrants application for funding support
2. Applications are reviewed by the Board of Directors of Hornsby RSL Club monthly
3. Applications must be completed at least 6 weeks prior to project start date to allow sufficient time for approval by Hornsby RSL Club's Board of Directors
