Applicants

All applications received are assessed by our Board of Directors at their monthly board meeting, and need to be submitted for processing by the third Monday of each month. Please be as thorough as you can to ensure your application can be easily assessed.
Applicants will be advised of the status of their sponsorship request in the fortnight following the board meeting which is held on the last Monday of the month. Applicants who have outstanding Club Grant acquittals will NOT be approved.

This category is solely for the purposed of applying for room hire waiver for a function, event or meeting being held at Panthers Port Macquarie. Only groups that meet the criteria as set out by ClubsNSW can apply. Please refer to the ClubGrants guidelines for reference. Please check with the Club before applying in order that the amount requested is correct.

Community and Sporting Organisations

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CATEGORY 2 IN KIND FUNDING

NOTE: This grant round applies to the Westport Club for in-kind support ONLY (not cash grants).

1. The Westport Clubs vision is to make a significant contribution to the quality of community life.
2. Projects must be community-focused, with measurable deliverables to residents of the local council areas where we operate - in the Port Macquarie Region
3. Category 2 projects relate to  
4. local grassroots sport,
5. local cultural and art-based projects,
6. general education and community development.

In-Kind Support includes

1. Complimentary or discounted room hire for Category 2 projects/events
2. Catering and AV costs

OVERVIEW OF THE PROCESS

1. Please liaise with our Events Department regarding availability and requirements prior to submitting a ClubGRANTS application via email at events@thewestportclub.com.au or call the Westport Events Office 02 6588 7208
2. All applications are reviewed on a monthly basis.  Please allow for at least 6 weeks after submitting to receive notification of a final decision.
3. Applications must be completed a minimum of 6-weeks prior to your project start date to allow for approvals.
